Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients over the age of 18 years of either gender. 2. Patients having moderate to massive stage II parapneumonic pleural effusions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient not giving consent. 2. Patients having malignant pleural effusions. 3. Patient having pleural effusion with a history of trauma. 4. Patients having Hemothorax, frank empyema, hydropneumothorax and pyopneumothorax. 5. Bleeding disorder or anticoagulant therapy.
