Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with type 2 diabetes who require vitrectomy for diabetic vitreous hemorrhage with TRD Patients > 18yrs of age Patients willing for preoperative injection of Ranibizumab (parent molecule or biosimilar) Psuedophakic patients. Patients willing for a follow up period of 3 months
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Phakic and Aphakic patients Patients with history of prior vitrectomy Patients with combined retinal detachment Patients with neovascular glaucoma and iris neovascularisation. Eyes requiring internal tamponade in the event of intraoperative iatrogenic break formation will be excluded from the study.
