Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -ASA class I and class II -Body mass index 18 -29 kg/m2 - Patients of either sex scheduled to undergo elective upper limb surgery under supraclavicular block

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patients refusing for participation - Proximal humerus and shoulder surgery. - Patient with allergy to local anesthetics - local infection at the injection site. - Bleeding disorder. - extensive burn wounds in either arm. - diabetess mellitus and peripheral vascular disease.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
calculate sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of the three methodsTimepoint: Base line, 5 minutes, 10 minutes , 15 minutes and 20 minutes

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
calculate the perfusion index, quality of block & overall accuracy of blockTimepoint: baseline, 5 minutes,10 minutes,15 minutes & 20 minutes.
