Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients will be selected according to Simons Criteria History of recurrent or chronic regional musculoskeletal pain in Cranio-facial caused by trigger points Pharmacologic washout of =72 hours for central analgesics NSAIDs and antidepressants ? Patients who have given Informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Any previously documented episode of allergy to local anaesthetic. 2. Patients on analgesics or anti-inflammatory medication who are not willing to discontinue. 3. Patients on physiotherapy /complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) for the same problem. 4. Bony changes if present Radiographically. 5. Pregnant women. 6. Systemically compromised patients. 7. Patient not willing to give informed consent.
