Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I, II and III Patients scheduled for upper limb surgeries Elective surgeries/ Emergency Surgeries Consent from patients

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA IV and V Patient refusal Patient having pre-existing cardiac, neurological or respiratory disease Local infection/ inflammation Patient having coagulopathy or patients on anticoagulant therapy Contralateral lung injury and rib fracture Pre-existing neuropathy involving surgical limb History of allergy to local anaesthetic Patient with history of peptic ulcer disease, hepatic or renal failure Pregnancy Systemic use of corticosteroids for 2 weeks or longer within 6 months of surgery
