Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Newly diagnosed smear positive drug sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis patients who have at least one sputum smear samples positive for tubercle bacilli (at least 1+) by auramine rhodamine staining- Patients willing to come for regular followup

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patient with HIV -Patients diagnosed with Chronic Kidney disease and Chronic liver disease requiring dose modifications. -Pregnant and lactating women. -Newly diagnosed tuberculosis patients with respiratory failure
