Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
. To evaluate the efficacy of phenylephrine in treating oxytocin induced hemodynamic changes in patients undergoing spinal anaesthesia for caesarean section. 2. To evaluate the efficacy of mephentermine in treating oxytocin induced hemodynamic changes in patients undergoing spinal anaesthesia for caesarean section. 3. To compare efficacy of phenylephrine and mephentermine in treating oxytocin induced hemodynamic changes in patients undergoing spinal anaesthesia for caesarean section. Timepoint: Just after delivery of baby and after cord clamping oxytocin 3 IU iv bolus over 1 min was administered and hemodynamic effects of oxytocin were studied. Heart rate , MAP, SBP,DBP were studied every 1 minute for next 5 mins.
