Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 to 65 years, American Society of Anesthesia (ASA) grade I or II, with normal neurological status, undergoing awake intubation due to anticipated difficult airway posted for elective surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient’s refusal Age 65 years; pregnant and nursing women ASA grade III or IV Patients with restricted neck mobility Cardio-pulmonary compromised patients Patient with abnormal higher mental functions Patients with history of recurrent epistaxis, nasal blockage Patients allergic to xylometazoline, lignocaine.
