Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with chronic kidney disease 2. Patients on regular haemodialysis in whom AVF creation is necessary 3. HD naïve patients in whom AVF creation is planned

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients not consenting for the study 2. Patients with a recent history of bleeding, 3. Patients with malignancies 4. Patients with liver diseases 5. Patients with thyroid diseases 6. Patients with infectious diseases 7. Patients with alterations in leucocyte count 8. Patients with on treatment with steroids 9. Patients on treatment with immunosuppressants.
