Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: •Patient giving consent •Age 20-60 years •ASA Grade I and II •American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) I–II who were scheduled for modified radical mastectomy for unilateral breast cancer

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of allergy to any trial drugs, presence of coagulation disorders, 2.Infection at the nerve block puncture site, 3.Ingestion of any analgesic drug within 48 h before surgery, 4.History of chronic pain medication use, 5.Trauma or history of thoracic spine surgery 6.Sinus bradycardia, 7.Atrioventricular block and any other conditions 8.Patient not giving consent

TOTAL CONSUMPTION OF RESCUE ANALGESIATimepoint: VAS score at 0,1,6,12,18 and 24 hours. RSS score at 0,1,4,6,12,18 and 24 hours

MeasureTime frame
Time to 1st rescue analgesia(Morphine). 2. Total consumption of 2st rescue analgesia(Diclofenac). 3. VAS score at 0,1,6,12,18 and 24 hours. 4. RSS score at 0,1,4,6,12,18 and 24 hours. 5. Incidence of PONV in first 24 hours. 6. Incidence of bradycardia or hypotension in intraoperative or postoperative period. 7.
