Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age - 20 to 50 years, irrespective of sex, religion and caste. 2. Presence of classical sign and symptoms of Amlapitta. 3. Patient suffering from Amlapitta for less than 1 year. 4. Patients who were on antacids, PPI but now has given up for last 2 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are known cases of systemic disorders like hypertension, diabetes etc. 2. Pregnant women and lactating mother. 3. Patients on systemic or oral steroids for more than 1 year. 4. Patients having congenital anomalies, surgical interventions, etc. 5. Patients under treatment for psychiatric ailments. 6. Patient not willing to give informed written consent for the trial. 7. Patient who has participated in any clinical trial in past 6 months.

Kadvi Booti (Ainsliaea aptera) is effective in management of Amlapitta w.s.r. Hyperacidity which will be assessed through Subjective parameters and the Five-point Investigator’s Global Assessment Scale (Very much improved, Much improved, Improved, Mildly improved, Worse) will be used for efficacy.Timepoint: 3 months
