Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients in the age group between 16- 45 years. 2 patients who will be undergoing BSSO with low and short medial cut modification

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.A history of paresthesia prior to surgery due to trauma, tumour or any pathology 2.Patient refusing consent

1.To evaluate the long term outcome of Inferior alveolar nerve at intervals of 1 week, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months prospectively in a cohort of patients undergoing surgery with low and short medial cut modifications of BSSOTimepoint: The patients will be evaluated in 5 periods: 1 T0 (preoperative) 2 T1(1 week postoperative), 3 T2 (1 month postoperative), 4 T3 (3 months postoperative), and 5 T4 (6 months postoperative).	—
