Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Cancer patients hospitalized in the oncology department between the ages of 20 and 60 who can read, write, and interpret English, Kannada, or Malayalam. 2.Cancer patients with mild, moderate, and severe scores of depression as per DASS 21 (10-27)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who are receiving any other forms of mindfulness or relaxation training 2.Patients with cognitive impairment and who are in critical condition 3.Patients with sensory deficits like hearing loss 4.Patients with medication for psychological problems.
