Intervention1: Asl -us- soos ( Glycyrrhiza glabra): 3 grams, BD, before food for 45 days Control Intervention1: Jawarish-e-mastagi: 5gms ,BD, before meal for 45 days

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having following symptoms Heartburn Indigestion Epigastric pain Nausea Vomiting Loss of appetite

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus and hypertension Pregnancy and lactating mother Patient with active GI haemorrhage, obstruction and perforation Gastric carcinoma Patient with any systemic disease such as hepatorenal, cardiac, pulmonary diseases
