Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with age between 20 to 50 years. 2. ASA physical status 1 and 2 patients . 3. Patients undergoing Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy under genral anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal to participate. 2.Patients with atrioventriculat block, cardiac failure, cardiac arrhythmias, renal failure, uncontrolled hypertension and ischemic heart disease 3. Documented allergy to drugs 4.Pregnant patients 5.Patients undergoing emergency surgeries 6.Patient on beta blockers 7. surgeries getting converted to open cholecystectomy

MeasureTime frame
To compare the hemodynamic effects of Dexmedetomidine & Lidocaine infusion in patients undergoing Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy.Timepoint: To asses the changes in heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure from baseline values at the time of induction & every 10 minutes interval till pneumoperitonium is released.—

MeasureTime frame
to study the post operative sedation score in patients that underwent Laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Timepoint: the post operative sedation scores will be assesed with ramsay sedation scale for every 10 minutes for a duration of 30 minutes.—
