Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients udergoing cesarean section and gynaecological surgeries.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients on immunosuppressants

To assess healing and incidence of surgical site infection in both groups immediate post operatively and on POD-7 or day of discharge.Timepoint: at time of recruitment—

To compare incidence of wound complications( dehiscence, hematoma, seroma, bleeding), incidence of surgical site infections ( superficial , deep), length of hospital stay and wound complications related readmission.Timepoint: at time of recruitment—
