Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adult patients, requiring elective surgery under general anesthesia with proseal LMA insertion. 2.Patients fulfilling ASA physical status I & II. 3.Age 20 – 60 years old adults.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients requiring rapid sequence induction 2.Patients having Cardiovascular, neurological and psychiatric disorders. 3.History of hypertension, diabetes mellitus. 4.Pregnant or lactating women. 5.Anticipated difficult airway. 6.Any known contraindications to ketamine or propofol.
