Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: primigravida with singleton live pregnancy with cephalic presentation planned for induction of labour with poor bishop score of less than or equal to 5

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: premature rupture of membranes or hypersensitivity to prostaglandins or asthma or gross congenital anomaly in foetus
