Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Any trauma Patient Male, female and transgender sex 2.ASA I – II (E) adults >18, 3.ISS >15

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal On steroid therapy Received etomidate for endotracheal intubation Severe TBI (GCS Cervical spine injury Late admission (after 72 hrs following trauma/injury) Adrenal gland disorder Recent h/o ICU/HDU stay (in last one month from the current admission) Non-availability of Emergency resuscitation details (if he/she received resuscitation prior to admission at our center).

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
vasopressor requirement.Timepoint: 48 hour

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
compare the following study parameters in between relatively low vs normal cortisol trauma victims. •Resuscitation requirement including total administered IV fluid, blood product administered and Mechanical ventilation requirement period in first. •Hemodynamic parameters (SBP, MAP, HR, SpO2) and urine output.Timepoint: with in first 72 hrs of triage admission.;The incidence of low serum cortisol level.Timepoint: within 30 minutes of arrival.
