Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children scheduled for elective surgical procedures under general anaesthesia with a supraglottic airway device and caudal block.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Known congenital heart disease -Comorbid respiratory illness. -Preoperative total gut irrigation or intravenous fluids -Refusal of consent -Allergic to anaesthetic agents

Predictability of Plethysmographic Variability index (PVI) as reliable parameter for fluid responsiveness in spontaneously breathing anaesthetized childrenTimepoint: All the measurements are taken after anaesthesia induction before starting of surgery : baseline measurements taken just after insertion of supraglottic airway device, then second set of measurements are taken 1 minute after passive leg raising, third set of measurements done after 10ml/kg fluid bolus over 10 minutes, fourth set of measurements done one minute after repeating passive leg raising , after 4 set of measurements surgery will bestarted
