Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with posteromedial tibial plateau fracture (Schatzker type IV) treated with open reduction and internal fixation with posteromedial approach, above 18 years of age will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with lateral plateau involvement, polytrauma, open fractures, fractures with ipsilateral fractures,delayed presentation >3 weeks, pathological fractures, non-ambulatory patients, and patients who do not consent for the study were excluded from the study.
