Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All the primary caregivers of patients with terminally ill advanced cancer with the following: 1)Patient and primary caregiver aged >18 years 2)No planned cancer directed therapy and prognosticated for poor cancer outcome by primary care team. 3)Palliative Prognostic Score (PaP) group B and C. 4)Fulfilling eligibility criteria for futile medical care.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Primary caregiver not giving consent. 2) Critically ill cancer patients with acute potentially reversible medical emergencies – as decided by the clinicians objectively and subjectively.
