Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children of age 7 months to 36 months with diarrhea.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children requiring ventilatory support.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary outcomes will be frequency and volume of diarrhea episode experienced by children in each group.Timepoint: Till resolution of diarrhea.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
secondary outcomes will include weight gain by children, time to first formed stools, acceptability of daily feeds and overall well-beingTimepoint: Till resolution of diarrhea.
