Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients scheduled for elective day care infraumbilical surgeries under spinal anaesthesia. 2.Patients aged between 18-70 years of either gender, giving valid informed and written consent. 3.Patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiology (ASA) grade I or II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient with any contraindication to spinal anaesthesia. 2.History of anaphylaxis to local anaesthetics and allergy to study drugs. 3.Obese patients with BMI >30kg/m2. 4.Patients with cardiac history such as CAD, MI, CHF, dysrhythmias, valvular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, and DM. 5.Patient having any history of psychiatric illness, or substance abuse, or chronic alcoholic.
