Intervention1: Preemptive dose of oral flupiritine: Administering the study drug flupiritine maleate 200 mg orally with a sip of water to the participants 2 hour before the surgery . Control Intervent

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All ASA grade | and || patients between 18 years to 60 years age group with cholelithiasis posted for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with cardiovascular, respiratory, renal , hepatic , neurological disorders . Pregnant and lactating women . Patients with coagulation abnormalities or on oral anti coagulants Patients with chronic pain conditions and taking analgesics or opioids . Obesity (BMI > 30 kg /m2 ) Patients with alcohol abuse , smoking habits . Patients with history of psychiatry disorder or on anti psychotic drugs . Any known drug allergy to the study drugs .
