Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Transfemoral amputee, aged 18-60 years 2. Duration of amputation of at least 6 weeks 3. Healthy amputation stump 4. Functional contralateral lower limb

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Amputees unable to walk because of other associated injuries (head injuries, other solid visceral injuries where bed rest has been advised). 2. Patients unable to follow for a period of three months after providing the prosthesis. 3. Patients not willing to provide consent for the study.
