Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All newborns less than 32 weeks of gestational age will be recruited

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Major congenital malformation (cyanotic congenital heart disease, suspected genetic disorders, structural diseases affecting lung function (congenital diaphragmatic hernia). 2. Suspected Inborn errors of metabolism 3. Extramural preterm babies admitted in the unit after 24 hours of birth 4. Suspected muscular dystrophy or neurological disease that may affect lung development or function
