Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with early mixed dentition 2. Patients in CVMI stage 1 - 3 3. Patients with transverse maxillary discrepancy 4. Patients with narrow maxilla with or without posterior crossbite 5.Patients whose parents/guardians willing to give written and informed consent to this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with any systemic illness. 2. Patients with any bleeding and clotting disorders 3. Patients with neurological or psychiatric disorders. 4. Patients with metabolic bone disease. 5. Patients with suppressive therapy of the immune system. 6. Patients with infections or circulatory problems. 7. Patients who have undergone any other type of orthodontic treatment. 8. Patients whose growth phase has ceased.
