Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Parturients aged 20-40 years scheduled for caesarean section under spinal anaesthesia 2)American Society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA-PS) II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with any contra-indications to spinal anaesthesia 2)Patients allergic to Ondansetron or local anaesthetics 3)Patients taking any selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors 4)Patients having any rhythmic disturbances 5)Patient refusal

To evaluate the proportion & magnitude of spinal anaesthesia induced hypotension in parturients receiving IV ondansetron with those not receiving the drug. Timepoint: 30 minutes—
