Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with rapidly developing clinical signs of focal or global disturbances lasting at least for 24hrs. 2. Diagnosis of cerebrovascular accidents confirmed using radio-imaging such as CT, MRI. 3. Patients having ECG taken within first 24 hours of onset of syndrome. 4. 2D echocardiogram done within 72 hours of onset of symptoms.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. ECG not available within the first 24hours of stroke. 2. Patients having pre-existing ischemic heart disease 3. Patients having past history of cerebrovascular diseases. 4. Patients with age less than 18 yrs and more than 70 yrs.
