Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients in the age group of 30 to 60 years with missing teeth bilaterally (Kennedy’s class I), having an edentulous ridge with or without hard tissue deficiency

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with systemic diseases, smokers, pregnant women, and patients with recent history of extraction (less than 3 months), or having retained root stumps, or harbouring an active periodontal infection or periapical abscess
