Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: University level overhead athletes. Undergoes sports specific training twice per week. Have not been injured in the upper limb in the 6 months prior to study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Had a previous injury to shoulder and elbow. Have any recent localized injuries, infections, inflammation, degenerative conditions, radiculopathy or neuropathy affecting the neck or upper limbs, or a hernia in the cervical disc.

MeasureTime frame
Muscle activity: EMG %MVIC of Serratus Anterior, Infraspinatus, Latissimus dorsi, Levator scapulae. Muscle fatigue by median frequency of EMG. Isometric muscle strength by Hand-held dynamometer. Timepoint: Outcomes will be assessed at baseline(T0), at 3 weeks(T1), 6 weeks(T2) and 8 weeks(T3).
