Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. All children in the age group of 3 years to 15 years who were suspected of adenoid hypertrophy by pediatricians and underwent lateral neck X-rays at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal. 2. Children who were evaluated for the first time will only be included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children whose parents deny consent for study. 2. Children with known congenital anomalies especially of upper respiratory tract. 3. Previously diagnosed AH and those undergoing treatment. 4. Repeat evaluation of adenoid with X-ray of the lateral neck in a child who is already enrolled. 5. Children with syndromic features. 6. Poor quality lateral neck X-rays. 7. Children with symptoms of AH but lateral neck X ray is not done.
