Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a)Patients of Pakshaghata (nonhemorrhagic hemiplegia) from the onset of symptoms up to 1 year b)Patients of Pakshaghata (nonhemorrhagic hemiplegia) with moderate and severe category on Barthel Index C)Patients between ages of 18 to 80 years d)Subjects who fulfill the eligibility criteria of Abhyanga,Nadisweda and Basti, e)Muscle power grade less or equal to 4 in either upper or lower limbs

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) bed ridden patients ofpakshaghata (nonhemorrhagic hemiplegia) b)other neurological disorders like alzheimers disease,traumatic baraininjury , tumors, seizers,parkinsons disease,chorea c) patients with intracranial infection

Relief in signs and symptoms of Pakshaghata on Barthel index and Modified Ashworth scaleTimepoint: on 17th day and 33rd day after completion of treatment

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
samyak sign & symptoms of niruha & anuvasana bastiTimepoint: every day after basti treatment
