Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Fonseca’s Questionnaire: The Fonseca’s questionnaire follows the characteristics of a multidimensional evaluation. It is composed of 10 questions It is used to classify TMD severity. It is composed of 10 questions, and one has to answer with ‘yes’, ‘no’ and ‘sometimes’ and that only one answer should be marked for each question and the average .Timepoint: baseline, 8 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
) ICF MODEL It Consists of components that affect the participant’s body function , structure and activities that are limited , here the number 0 indicates no impairment and 4 indicates severe impairment Timepoint: pre- baseline post - after 8 days;. Maximum mouth opening measured using vernier calliper The maxillary dental midline is used as the starting position of neutral and the mandibular dental midline will be measured at neutral to indicate the lateral deviation of the mandible to the left or right. This can also be done at maximal lateral deviation to the right and left to indicate lateral range of motion. Interrater reliability 0.9% Intersession realibility 0.8 – 0.9%Timepoint: pre- baseline post - after 8 days; The 8-item jaw functional limitation scale (JFLS-8) It is used to assess functionality. It represents mastication , mobility , verbal and emotional communication. the number ‘0’ indicates no restrictions and the number ‘10’ indicated ‘severe restriction’ on the 10 cm horizontal line. The limitation in functionality will be determined by taking the average of the answers given by each participant.Timepoint: pre- baseline post - after 8 days
