Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Parturients willing to give informed consent (An 2.Those aged 18years – 40 years 3.Those fulfilling the criteria of Pregnancy Induced Hypertension, i.e,new onset Hypertension >140mmHg systolic or >90mmHg diastolic after 20 weeks of pregnancy with or without proteinuria

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Parturients not willing to give informed consent 2. Those undergoing emergency caesarean section 3. Those undergoing cesarean section under general anaesthesia 4. Those with cardiac disease, twin pregnancy, chronic hypertension, renal disease, morbid obesity (BMI > 40 Kg/m2),)Hb 5.Having contraindications for spinal anaesthesia, short stature( Height
