Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Parturients willing to give informed consent (An 2.Those aged 18years – 40 years 3.Those fulfilling the criteria of Pregnancy Induced Hypertension, i.e,new onset Hypertension >140mmHg systolic or >90mmHg diastolic after 20 weeks of pregnancy with or without proteinuria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Parturients not willing to give informed consent 2. Those undergoing emergency caesarean section 3. Those undergoing cesarean section under general anaesthesia 4.
