Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Out-patients admitted with early and late onset Parkinson’s disease based on UPDRS and UK BRAIN BANK CRITERIA. 2. Patients with clinical symptoms of Parkinson disease. 3. Documented onset of motor symptoms.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with drug-induced Parkinsonism, vascular Parkinsonism, and atypical forms of Parkinsonism (such as progressive supranuclear palsy, multiple system atrophy, or cortico basal degeneration). 2. History of repeated strokes with stepwise progression of parkinsonian features. 3. History of definite encephalitis.
