Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects with known case of Acute or Chronic Pancreatitis Male and female of 18 years to 70 years. Capability of complete compliance and completion of follow-up Willingness to provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with Diabetes or other chronic conditions like chronic kidney disease, Cardiovascular diseases, etc. Patients consuming drugs like rifampin, lamivudine, octreotide, carbamazepine, etc. which are known to cause pancreatitis. Pregnant and lactating women and women who intend to become pregnant. Patient unwilling / not able to give consent. Any other cause or condition that the investigator may find unfit to be taken for the study.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the symptomatic relief and changes in Quality of life in subjects having acute or chronic pancreatitisTimepoint: Baseline, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluating the changes by using GiQoL Index and PGICin the subjects. Also determine if any damage to the pancreas at 3 and 18 months occur and monitor how this changes throughout the course of study. Timepoint: Baseline, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months
