Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age range of 20-50 years 2.Patients with varying degrees of periodontitis 3.Participants with a sufficient number of anterior teeth in the maxillary and mandibular arches for data collection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Participants below 20 years or above 50 years of age. 2.Participants with uncontrolled or severe systemic conditions, such as uncontrolled diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, or immune disorders, that may affect periodontal health. 3.Pregnant individuals, as hormonal changes during pregnancy can influence periodontal health and gingival dimensions. 4.Participants who have received periodontal treatment (e.g., scaling and root planing, gingival surgeries) within the past three months, as it may impact the gingival dimensions. 5.Participants with severe periodontal disease (e.g., advanced periodontitis) that requires immediate and extensive treatment interventions. 6.Participants with extensive edentulous areas in the maxillary or mandibular arches that limit the assessment of supra-alveolar gingival dimension (GD).
