Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Age 19 to 50 years 2)ASA physical status 1 and 2 3) Herniorrhaphy surgeries done under Spinal anaesthesia less than 2 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Diagnosed BPH 2)Frequent UTI, Urological symptoms 3)Neurological disorders, 4)history of spinal anaesthesia within 6 months 5)Diabetic complications 6)Prolonged surgery extending more than 120 mins 7)Patient refusal 8)Bleeding disorders, anticoagulant use 9)Chronic opioid use 10)Intraoperative blood loss more than 200ml 11)Conversion of mode of anaesthesia 12)Use of opioids till the micturition
