Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate blood glucose levels in paediatrics in relation to duration of fasting and type of intravenous fluids usedTimepoint: The HR, SBP, DBP, MAP will be monitored every 10 minutes and intra-operative blood glucose will be checked every 30 minutes(at the induction which is baseline value, 30 minutes, 60 minutes , at 90 minutes) till the end of the surgery(maximum duration of surgeries will ne 2 to 3 hours)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1)To evaluate blood glucose level in different age group 2)To find out the incidence of hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia Timepoint: The Heart rate, Systolic blood pressure, Diastolic blood pressure, Mean arterial pressure will be monitored every 10 minutes & intra-operative blood glucose will be checked every 30 minutes (at the time of induction , at 30 minutes, 60 minutes ...till the end of the surgery)till the end of the surgery(maximum duration of the surgery aiming at 2 to 3 houtrs)
