Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with age group of 18-65 years. With at least twenty teeth (excluding third molars), Diagnosed with psoriasis according to Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI), proposed by Fredriksson and Pettersson. Genetically identical siblings suffering from psoriasis. Genetically identical non –psoriasis siblings.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with dermatological or systemic conditions other than psoriasis (especially that involving immunoinflammatory deregulation). 2. Those who had recently undergone three months of immunomodulatory, antibiotic, or anti-inflammatory therapy 3. Pregnant and Lactating women. 4. Individuals who have undergone periodontal or dermatological therapy for psoriasis during the previous six months. 5. Smokers.
