Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients above 18 years of age from either gender with SBP > 160mmHg and/or MAP >120mmHg with any one of the following i. Tachypnea (respiratory rate >30cpm). ii. Dyspnea (Borg dyspnea scale, use of accessory muscles, air hunger). iii. Hypoxia (SpO2 iv. Crepitations on auscultation. v. B lines over anterior lung fields on USG.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i. Patient refusal or inability to give informed consent. ii. Pregnancy. iii. Clinical suspicion of non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema. iv. Patients in whom proper recording of vitals during NTG infusion is not done. v. Patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
