Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients between the age group of 18-60 years. 2) Either sex will be selected. 3) Acute cases of kasa will be selected. 4) Patients willing for trial. 5) Patients who are giving consent to study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Age more than 60 and less than 18 years including chain smokers. 2)Patients not willing for trial. 3)Patients having complications like Rajayakshma (T.B.),Asthma,Pneumonia,Malignancy etc.are not considered. 4)Patients suffering from any severe systemic disorders like Diabetes Mellitus,Hypertension,Heart problem which may interfere with the course of treatment will be excluded. 5)Patients having creatinine more than 1.2mg/DL 6)Patients having SGOT,SGPT,RFT more than 2times of normal range.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To check the efficacy of both the yog in kasa rog with subjective criterias of cough,bristles in throat and mouth,expectoration etc.Timepoint: Follow up will be taken at Day 7 and Day 14 with medicine.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Change in subjective symptoms & laboratory findings before & after treatment.Timepoint: Before treatment (Day 0) & After treatment (Day 14).
