Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 20 to 60 years of age group patients irrespective of sex, religion, socio-economic and marital status. 2. Individuals having minimal four clinical signs and symptoms of Sthaulya as per Charak Samhita. 3. Individuals having BMI > 27.5 as per WHO recommendation. 4. Individuals following their routine diet and specified exercise.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with hormonal disorders. 2. Pregnant and lactating women 3. Known patients of diabetes mellites. 4. Individuals with psychological disorders. 5. Individuals undergoing long term steroid therapy or any anti-obesity medication. 6. Individuals with evidence of renal, hepatic and cardiac involvement.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. Changes in body weight in 5% of total population. 2. 5% body weight reduction of participant compared baseline reading.Timepoint: 0 day & 90 Day with follow up every 15th days.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Significant changes in anthropometry measurements in body composition. 2. Significant changes in blood biochemistry ,HDL, & triglycerides. 3. Significant changes in scales of subjective parameters.Timepoint: 0 day & 90 Day with follow up every 15 th day.
