Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients between ages of 18-50 years. Patients with pericoronitis associated with partially erupted vertical tooth, depth- position A, Pell and Gregory class I ramus relationship. Adequate space for eruption of mandibular 3rd molar. Patients having restricted mouth opening up to 30 to 35mm. Patient who is medically fit for minor oral surgical procedure under local anesthesia. Pregnant patient fit for minor oral surgical procedures.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Systemically compromised patients. Patients on long term medications / supplements. Patients with history of smoking and tobacco chewing. Mesioangular mandibular 3rd molar. Teeth without antagonist. Carious teeth. Patients allergic to the prescribed medication.
