Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient diagnosed with mechanical low back pain. VAS Scoring with minimum score of 30mm and maximum score of 74mm. Subjects who will sign consent form willingly Participants who can understand Hindi, Gujarati, English.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any previous or current experience in core strengthening. Subjects who are on regular fitness program. Subjects with BMI greater than 30.0 kg/m2 History of fractures (spine, rib) or injury in past 1 year. History of any abdominal surgery in past 1 year. Any other systemic illness such as ankylosing spondylitis, tumors, spinal infections.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Visual Analogue Scale. Roland Morris Disability Questionnaire. Timepoint: Outcomes will be assessed at baseline and 4 weeks.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Ultrasound Imaging for Lumbar Multifidus and Transverse Abdominus muscle.Timepoint: 3 sessions per week for 4 consecutive weeks.
