Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Subjects of age 50 years to 70 years of any gender showing features of grade 1 and grade 2 osteoarthritis fulfilling the diagnostic criteria. 2) Subjects pre-diagnosed with osteoarthritis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Grade 3 and grade 4 osteoarthritis. 2) Rheumatoid arthritis. 3) Other types of infective and non-infective arthritis. 4) Subjects with history of direct trauma to the knee joint which may interfere with the study. 5) Subjects with Diabetes mellitus. 6) Pregnant and lactating women. 7) Subjects with BMI above 30.

MeasureTime frame
Pain will be assessed with Defense and Veterans Pain Rating Scale where 0 indicates no pain and 10 indicates severe pain. The assessment will be taken while recruiting the patient, once a week for 4 weeks during the course of treatment and once in 2 weeks as follow up.Timepoint: At baseline, on 7th day, 14th day, 21st day, 28th day Follow up on 42nd day and 56th day
