Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Term Pregnant >36weeks(non labouring) 2.ASA Physical status 1&2 3.BMI 4.Scheduled for elective caesarean section under neuraxial anaesthesia 5.Following ASA fasting guideline

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Obstretic Emergencies 2.Gestational Diabetes 3.GERD 4.Previous Lower Esophageal or Gastric Surgery 5.Hiatal Hernia 6.Gastric Cancer 7.Multiple Gestation

MeasureTime frame
Gastric volume assessment in mL: 27 + 14.6 × ACSA (cm2) - 1.28 × age (years)Timepoint: Pregnant term female-37weeks and comparing female other than non pregnant female.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Gastric Contents assessment done by appraising the echogenicity on USG examination. For assessment of the risk of aspiration, we will use the classification by Ven de Putte & Perlas .Timepoint: Pregnant term female-37weeks & comparing female other than non pregnant female
