Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All healthy volleyball players playing at the college level between the age group of 18 to 26 years belonging to all genders having a normal BMI of between 18.5 to 24.9 kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Players had previously undergone plyometric training. 2. Any musculoskeletal condition. 3. Neurological disorder. 4. Cardiopulmonary impairment. 5. Recent injuries. 6. Not involved in professional sports.

To evaluate the effect of 6 weeks of upper body plyometrics on the pulmonary function and power using pulmonary function test [FEV1, FVC, Vital capacity] and seated medicine ball throw test respectively in college-level volleyball players in individuals aged 18 to 26 years.Timepoint: Participants will be assessed at baseline and post 6 weeks of intervention

To evaluate the effect of 6 weeks of routine volleyball game on the pulmonary function and power using pulmonary function test [FEV1, FVC, Vital capacity] and seated medicine ball throw test respectively in college-level volleyball players in individuals aged 18 to 26 years.Timepoint: Participants will be assessed before start of the intervention and after 6 weeks of intervention;To compare the effect of 6 weeks of upper body plyometrics with routine volleyball game on the pulmonary function and power using pulmonary function test [FEV1, FVC, Vital capacity] and seated medicine ball throw test respectively in college-level volleyball players in individuals aged 18 to 26 years.Timepoint: Participants will be assessed at baseline and post 6 weeks of intervention.
